Mansions of the Lord
This song was sung by the West Point Glee Club at the end of the movie "We Were Soldiers"

The words to "Mansions of the Lord" were written by the producer/director of the "We Were Soldiers" movie, Randall Wallace and set to the music of Nick Glennie-Smith, who composed all the original music in "We Were Soldiers".

Lyrics:
"The Mansions of the Lord"

To fallen soldiers let us sing
where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
to the mansions of the Lord

No more bleeding no more fight
No prayers pleading through the night
just divine embrace, eternal light
in the mansions of the Lord

Where no mothers cry and no children weep
We will stand and guard tho the angels sleep
All through the ages safely keep the mansions of the Lord
