Bob Lind - Elusive Butterfly (HQ)

This song by "Bob Lind" was released in 1966 and i believe it reached number 5 here i the UK charts and would have probably have gone higher if "Val Doonican" had not also released this song at the same time, and his version also reached number 5 in the charts,both the versions of this song are very good.

@Banderuola66 Ha ha,thanks Sonja,so many people say they wished they were back in the 60's,i'm about that same age as you, and i can still remember my late parents playing all this music i upload on my channel,and they always seemed to be having so much fun,and they both said to me in later years how the 60's was the best era ever,and i have to believe them as this music has stood the test of time,thanks for watching and for the butterflies up lol. Val did ok but Bob's version is far superior in my opinion, this is a classic but I loved all his songs, great post Carl. Here's a few stars ★★★★★

@paulboon Hi Paul yeah i have both versions of this song and i think Val's version was very good and i have that one on vinyl,he did seem to just fade out of the limelight as he was always on TV at one point.I know he's in his eighties now but was wondering if he was still performing these days,i did always like his laid back style to his singing,thanks for your comment.
