Considering that those people suffer enough already, I don't think it'd be unreasonable to suggest that those VMs should GTFO and let people who can, you know, actually help take their place.

What?! Why are they giving air time to $cientology? and why are they allowing him to give out the Sci phone numbers? Isn't that dangerous? He is speaking as if he is an authority in treating trauma but has he had any certifiable, non $cientology training because psychological trauma is a rather serious thing and needs to be treated properly? - Quackery certainly won't to it.

People who have lost family, friends and/or their wordly possessions don't need to be subjected to the opportunistic exploitation of the Church of Scientology!

@EllenIsVM Ellen Hubbard was never a qualified nuclear physicist. His only degree was from Sequoia University, an unaccredited diploma mill. The only course in nuclear physics Hubbard ever took was in 1931 at George Washington University, whose records indicate that he scored an F in the course. Hubbard dropped out of school shortly thereafter, with a 2.28 grade point average.

With the imminent threat of malfunctioning nuclear reactors, there is no greater need than in Japan for the help Scientology offers.

@EllenIsVM How exactly are you "helping humanity"? All we see is the Scientology think-tank disseminating it's brand of psychological manipulation to traumatized disaster victims. VMs are the last thing needed in this situation!

And the cult of $cientology calls psychiatry a pseudo-science!
I'm sure the $cientology volunteer minister means well, but he has no recognised expertise or qualification in any scientifically tested way of stress reduction. It wouldn't be a problem if these clowns weren't stopping vulnerable people getting genuine counselling like they did after the July 07 bombs in London.

Trufax. In fact a BBC radio journalist went undercover to one of their meetings at the time and uncovered a plan by scientologists to get in the way and keep people affected by the bombings away from genuine counsellors. The radio programme is probably still on youtube or webbed somewhere
