The 420 Collection is a special exhibit featuring art by Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship's Grace Slick, a supporter of efforts to end marijuana prohibition and ensure safe and legal access to medical cannabis.

Grace has created a series of paintings and limited edition prints especially for this exhibit. A portion of each sale will benefit the Marijuana Policy Project.

You're acting as if people can't get cannabis already. Look, just because something is illegal, it doesn't mean people are not using it in high numbers. Legalization would not increase the number of users. Everyone who wants to smoke pot already does. Yes, it has some negative effects, but its benefits outweigh its negatives. It is a great alternative to pain killers, alcohol and other drugs.

@fundies2 your presenting the increase of the THC tolerance with as consequence that the subject smokes more as a fact. yet i myself stick to the same measures and proportions of both weed and tabacco which makes this one of the many "facts" that does not apply to me and many others.

@suckieduckie doesnt change the fact that getting stoned has its negative effects too. again, just because one thing is legal DOES NOT mean that something else should be legal. comparing one to the other is silly. bottom line is, better to have only one thing that impairs judgement and has negative effects legal than 2.

@suckieduckie not retarted, just totally honest. reaction time IS TOTALLY slowed when someone is stoned. i have seen it first hand. thing is when you are stoned you do not realize how slow your reaction time is. i was just talking to this with a psychiatrist recently. i know people who smoke so much that they cant remember entire conversations. and yes, alcohol is probably worse in many ways but that doesnt change the fact that getting stoned has many negative affects as well.

@suckieduckie nevertheless, it IS addictive. doesnt matter if it is physically or mentally. the more one smokes the more resistant they become, thus needing more to get the stoned effect. they become "addicted"to the feeling of being stoned and crave more. that that is one (of many) reasons why stoners cant stop.

@cindybin2001 well you shouldnt, yet everybody who wants to, which is 95% of all 18+ people, consumes alcohol. why? because they want to.

you think it disturbs stoners that they cant get their daily weed legally, but it disturbs them because on a daily basis people get fcking hammered while if they smoke a J with some friends instead they can go to jail.

the fact that its bad for you doesnt mean you shouldnt be allowed to use it, like smoking or drinking.

@fundies2 its retarded to think this, reaction time is not neccesarily slowed, and you dont black out like alcohol makes you do, you just forget tiny stuff. Like if you walk into a room and forget for a brief moment what you came in the room for, but you will always remember that you actually got to the room.

also pot is far less likely to get someone to make stupid decisions than alcohol would.
