  • 8891randy says he/she has only had good experiences in CS, yet admits she was in pain the first 2 times she called the practitioner; she even admits that the pain was "terrible," but still says her whole CS experience was "nothing but good." I believe this 'all good' view is instilled in CSists, as if they are brainwashed to believe that their CS experience was 'all good.' Uh, no, it was not, apparently. The dangers of religious brainwashing ...

  • Sorry you had a bad experience. I've had nothing but good experiences with a practitioner. I had a terrible pain in my side one morning and had to call her three different times in two hours - the pain was enormous. By eleven-thirty am i was OK. She later set the bill for only $20! I wrote a check for $50.

  • This man is right, you don't want to engage in conversation with Christian Scientists about 'scientific Eddy-science,' I mean Eddy's 'Christian Science.' I wish I hadn't.

  • The sincerity of this speaker is very evident in this video. Eddy-science, i.e. Christian Science, is unscientific.

  • @8891randy I spent $636 a month on CS round-the-clock prayer treatment & was told that since I worked In CS, I was getting a great employee discount. The next CS practitioner took $475 a month from me, saying the same discount nonsense. I had a genetic problem; it didn't heal. Then I went to a doctor. I got a doctor team who gave me focused attn, a right diagnosis, eventually we found the right medicine & I now feel good. All for $260 a month & no belittling talk: "You KNOW this isn't real."

  • oh yes we must look at the words, but for heavens sake do not read,

  • The reality is that America and European countries are over-medicated. I am not demeaning the purpose of medicine merely saying that something that was created to alleviate illness (physical and mental) is now the leading commercial product, abused more than used appropriately, and wielded as a weapon. I think medicine manufacturers are a joke and that people are constantly looking for a temporary relief or working themselves into a frenzy over the millions of possible ailments.

    Be free.

  • hahahahaha......who cares if he's drinking.

    I thought this was hilarious.

Christian Science doesn't need to be sold, you either understand Idealist Theology or you don't, most people disagree AND don't understand. Medicine works, metaphysics enables most to avoid the necessity of such things.

People don't die from Christian Science, it is a preventative and curing belief system as opposed to preventative and curing drugs.

  • As a Christian Scientist myself, I thought this was rather funny. Hey, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can, right?

  • YOU ARE A FUNNY MAN UNCLE...
