This is another favorite track that I wanted to upload. It's Track 11, Wall of Defense, from Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen.

  • When this song kicks in, you know shit is getting real

  • @sahuaro Indeed. Be it when you first march to Zenobia, or in the final stage, you know it's time to get serious.

  • I don't recall this song being in Ogre Battle 64...then again it's been a number of years since I played the game...so who knows :P Just google Galbadia Hotel and you can probably find it free to download there if it exists for OB64

  • @Blusnayl It wasn't in Ogre Battle 64. I wish that this song were in that game, but it was not.

  • This is the best song in the game.

  • LOVE how epic this track is... first time I heard it in game at the Slums of Zenobia, I was actually a tad startled, and it really lends an air of seriousness to any map that has the track.

  • There's an orchestral version of this now. Just look up "Impregnable Defense PSP".

  • FIGHT IT OUT!

  • this is a good one...but i personally prefer the floating island tracks (not sure of their names), but my definite favorite is the kalbian peninsula track...at the time, i have to say that it was the coolest song i had ever heard in a video game...i paused it and listened to it several times. this is one of the greatest games of all time.

  • Goddamnit. Thank you. 15 plus years since I last played this. I still hum the tune of this track. Again, thank you.

  • the faerie is beckoning me

  • @Mysterio467 Yeah, there's a PSX version of this tune, but it's highly debatable as to whether it is better (I'd say no, others say yes.)

An Ogre Battle 64 version of this song would be near universally better received because the instruments were fuller. Compare the OB64 version of Thunder to the PSX version of Thunder for instance.

  • @supernova54321 I know this comment of yours is old, but this tune was remixed as Wall of Defense on the original playstation Ogre Battle(Tactics ogre on PSX)

  • If someone would do a metal rendition of this song, I'd be in audible heaven ^^
