My wife and I were there in 2007, and did the crossing, with one of her friends taking the pictures from near the statue. It's almost impossible to get the right angle, as the original was taken from a ladder, and traffic had been blocked. Still, out of about 15 pics, there were 2 very good ones. I couldn't help but almost collapse giggling every time we made it to the curb across the street. One of the cheapest things for a tourist to do in London!

Abbey Road needs a street party in 2012 to celebrate 50 years the boys from Liverpool (no!..not Gerry and the Pacemakers) walked into the EMI Studios to create musical history.
