  • Though this is the "Amuro" Z-Plus, it was really a publicity stunt by Anaheim, in canon Amuro never piloted it, it merely was equipped with his motion data.

  • 0:36 Vulcan

    1:07 Beam Rifle

    0:06 Beam Saber

    1:37 Double Beam Cannon

  • @shippou55 An atmosphere-use mass-produced variant of the Zeta Gundam, appears in Gundam Sentinel.

  • @FlamingGnats

    From S Gundam

  • @Dynamis50 Well only the ReZEL was really considered a success.

  • @FlamingGnats It's from Gundam Sentinel. It's Anaheim's first attempt to mass-produce the Zeta Gundam. ReGZ was the second. ReZEL from Gundam Unicorn is the third.

  • It was one of the more "sensible" ones, too. Have you seen the Half Zeta Gundam? The "Waverider" component was reduced to a ginormous arm-mounted shield that looks like it must have been excruciatingly heavy for the mecha to carry. Unfortunately, in the end, it seems like every attempt to adapt the Z for mass production proved to be too complicated and too expensive for Anaheim Electronics to actually go through with it.

  • Several variants of the Z Plus are featured in Gundam Sentinel. It had been put into limited production by Karaba's air force and redesigned to focus on air-to-air dogfighting, although a few later variants were altered again to fight in space. I'm not sure exactly where the red Z Plus A1 was featured, though. It's a famous unit, but I'm drawing blanks on where it fits into the fiction.

  • The Zeta plus that Amuro pilot is a test type color unit, the rest are just standard color ( gray and little blue)

  • It came out of the novel Gundam Sentinel.
