Do you have any advice on how to massage a scar which as also tethered to underlying tissue?

Deep Scar Tissue
located in the intercostal muscles (underneath the rib cage) as well as the lung area.
Can massage & ultrasound reach these deep areas?
What technique/procedure do you suggest.
What frequency in therapy sessions would you suggest to get some relief?

I love your videos...they are so helpful in educating me and preparing me for CEUs, etc. My local AMTA chapter is offering a 2-day 16 CEU class on scar release. Do you think it would be beneficial for me to take the class or is general facial relase/cross fiber knowledge sufficient? (I'm on a limited budget, so I want to take the classes that will be of most benefit to me and my clients) Thanks.

Thanks so much for the info Ryan, I really appreciate it!

I didn't catch the name of the oil for the raised keloid scars. Could you type it out?
Thanks so much.

Okay so my left arm is severely scarred all over from a car accident about four moths ago. I've been done with surgery and treatments for a while and there are still a few parts that are pretty raised up. It constantly itches and even pulls sometimes. Should I get some of that oil that you mentioned in this video or has 4 months been too long to even try breaking the scar tissue up?

It's never too late to start breaking up scar tissue...it just takes longer if it's been a while.
