Cooper my cat Napping, all four legs up!

Cats are funny... call them and they become deaf; try to make a vid when they're sleeping and they wake up like a cannon just went off. He's just over four years old and weighs 26 lbs. When I got him from the Humane Society he weighed 30 lbs. I feed him IAMS adult cat food and often give him a small bit of salmon or tuna out of the tin - he nearly goes wild when he hears the can opener going. He sleeps all day while I'm at work, loves playtime and being brushed, then sleeps all night long too. His favorite sleeping position is between my arm and side with his chin resting on my chest. How sweet is that!

@lifewasters yes... but so unpredictable! He'll even let me brush his belly sometimes... or pet it... other times it turns into a biting session LOL I just kinda go with the flow. And have cold water and bandaids ready.

@labpatti Cooper's funny... I can crash around here and do stuff... but... the minute things get quiet and I try and sneak up on him he's awake like a bomb went off!!

@bulletsxdame back massager! Now there's an idea... Coop is pretty laid back but one thing he HATES is the vacuum cleaner... he just can't get used to it. Maybe someday. I look forward to a vid of Mikey!!

@miatageekscott yes! I've caught him doing that but unfortunately did not have the cam ready... sometimes he'll lick one paw, start washing his head, then it just sorta stays there

@bulletsxdame and I'll bet Mikey's just as handsome too! This must be a common trait... sleeping on the back with the legs sprawled out. And it's also a sign they're very contented and trusting
