@dormerxl And yeah, just found a "color dictionary" website, and all the color compounds read the character as "ai." Yay kanji (-.-)

@elvenfruit 藍 can be read as both "ran" and "ai." By itself, it's "ai," the onyomi / Japanese reading. In a compound you'd expect it to be "ran," the kunyomi / Chinese reading, but for whatever reason it's not here. Googling 深藍 gives me almost nothing in Japanese, a lot of Chinese hits though; it's an extremely uncommon word, so I wouldn't split hairs. If Ruru wants it to read Shin'ai, that's what it is here.

are you sure the title reads as shinai? I'm pretty sure it reads as Shin Ran(深藍) which means deep indigo blue. I double checked with Japanese dictionary. Please confirm.

@psychluna I'm not sure either. but from Rurutia wiki(which it mostly correct) and Jpop forum said it pronounced "Shin'ai" (dark blue, deep sadness) sound the same as "深 愛" in Japanese, also can be used for "love", a deep love. maybe there is a kanji complication?
