Hi great video, I'm planning on making the flowers in childrens church, they are going to take a terracotta flower pot, cover it in black with a rim and buckle like a pilgrims hat, I was trying to think of what to put in place of flowers because of the cost, so I think the tissue paper flowers will be GREAT!!! The pots will not be huge, like the one in the video, but big enough to make a few of these flowers. Thank you so much for posting And I thought your child was making them also. lol.

The only flower I know that looks like this and inspired this flower are the marigolds in my son's garden

I must be the most uncoordinated person when it comes to crafty stuff lol I seem to attract a paper massacre whenever I try something lol You make it look super easy, and quick. I don't know what i do, but my "petals" never seem to flare out enough, and it looks a bit squished lol Trial and error i suppose. I shall stick with hit as I have quite a few to make. Thanks for showing us all though :) and I too thought it was a child making these! I was worried about the scissors LOL
