James David Cellars Central Coast Syrah - 2005 - 9.0 - James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

This Syrah presents with notes of blueberry, fennel; earthen notes of mushroom and truffle cascading to delicate chocolate notes.

Syrah / Shiraz is a unique varietal that gives not just an homage to where it comes from but takes on the characteristics in ways that many other varietals do not. This wine is a nice homage to California's Central Coast.
