Now that the discussion on immigration reform is back, it is my hope that fairness and compassion will dominate the debate. There are many myths regarding immigrants. To help counter some of these, we are producing a series of videos that we hope you will help disseminate.

  • That's why we need serious leaders to address this issue. No more demagoguery, no more rhetorics, no more fear mongering. Just face the reality that using the immigration reform as wedge issue do not serve the best interests of our nation.

  • Why should immigrants be fodder for politicians and media whores? It's never okay to scapegoat, persecute or dehumanize people. When the debate gets ugly, remember the gross human rights abuses that are perpetrated in secret at detention facilities all over the country. Thank you, Dr. Hernandez..

  • Juan Hernandez is exactly on target with this information. Immigrants are helping our economy. Open minds are needed now to address immigration reform. Congress needs to consider this issue and respond in a timely, but wise manner--no slapash legislation, please!
