  • This isn't the best version of this song this was pulled out of circulation for the better more beltin' version on Dwain 803....1959.

  • @DoowopJohnnyBoy - I like this one better than the other version, though I thought the other version was slightly earlier than this one. Let me know if there's a THIRD version I wasn't aware of.

  • I sang with Stefano And The DelCastas when I was a kid. One of the guys later wound up on The Five Discs "Rock And Roll Revival".

  • Continued: Chord rise toward the end that this version lacks Chinese girl is the B side of Roses 803. My Chinese Girl was released again in 1964. To me personally the 803 version is superior I heard it on the Radio when I was 15 that would be 17 years ago. Never forgot it it's a Belter Rocket Rocker!!!!

  • The other version 803 was the one that the group originally ment to put out coz both versions where recorded during the same session at Dwain in early 1959 but due to a mix up the version on this Vid was put out by accident. The 803 version is the proper release you will notice a chord rise toward the end of the of the track that this
