Leland Yee also opposes the privatization of the Arborretum in the neighborhood. ("Progressive" Mayor Edwin Lee supports the fees, which have turned over control to the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society).

The Board of Supervisors' Budget and Finance Committee, chaired by conservative Supervisor Carmen Chu, will vote on whether to send the fees to the full Board on March 30, 2011.
