  • thanks for posting this. i'm ambitiously and a bit blindly trying to build a three foot steel armature (scrap metal monster) in my welding class to use for a stop motion, and i'm going to use the same ball joint principles here. i've come to the conclusion that i have to custom make the joints and i think my best bet is to find the right sized ball screws and construct the rest of it from scratch... but how big should the joint be? much to discover.
