Potterstraat, Utrecht (Netherlands)

The development of the Potterstraat in the center of Utrecht in the Netherlands. This had been a through street for over 800 years but it is now closed to private motorized traffic as part of a bigger plan to create a more livable city.

Incredible video! I happened to visit Utrecht for the first time in October and shot a short video of Potterstraat by chance. I had no idea of its history or importance.

I was also really impressed by Schiphol train station. Putting a full-sized station in the "basement" of the airport was novel to me. Most European cities I've visited have a spur (e.g., the RER in Paris) that leads back to stations in the main city, but Schiphol has direct trains to, say, Groningen.
