"When I Look at You" from The Scarlet Pimpernel
This is one of my favorite songs and I thought I would give it a whirl!
In the musical, at this point, Marguerite is contemplating why her husband, Sir Percy, has transformed from someone she loves into a blithering idiot, because she doesn't realize that he is actually the person known only as "The Scarlet Pimpernel" who is rescuing people from "Madame Guillotine" during the French Revolution. Beautiful music by Frank Wildhorn, both the original concept album as well as the newer versions.
