this is video is the truth, the only reason i get friendly with cetain girls is because i like them and want something more, the ones i dont want i just be nice to but dont really talk to them a lot and usually i only talk them in school. Guys just dont need friends, girls if a guy starts talking to u a lot and hanging out a lot and texting a lot and other girls dont get the same attention then he wants more.

no we dont want to be friends with chicks period. But if we do its because we like them and the main reason we like them is because they are attractive.

I take Sally's stance on this. Most, if not all of my friends are male and I'm pretty sure none of them think of me that way xD

Not exactly but men generally get all the friendships they need from their guy friends already. Men just make as better friends, that's why women want guy friends more than men want female friends. Guys will never choose female friends over male friends unless they want to have said with the female friend.

So men find that women have nothing more to offer than sex.

Have none of you read Freud? Sexuality permeates *everything* we do, including friendships. You can't define "friendship" as "not sexy" because literally everything *is sexy*. Friendships between men and women, between men and men, between women and women, is characterized by either hope for or against sexual contact. By this definition, yes, men and women *can* be friends. It's just that friendship and sex aren't mutually exclusive.

Wanting to have sex with someone doesn't change if you're friends with them or not. Ask most married couples who their best friend in the whole world is, and they'll probably say it's the person they're married to. By that logic, either no married couples would be friends or no married couples would be having sex (har har har but sex ends at marriage durrrrr).

Guys are different. I'm friends with girls I'd have sex with, and some guys don't think that's possible.

A lot of men, I find - and this just doesn't seem to be true for most women - treat friendship as a means to an end with women they find attractive. Of course, I stay as far away from the word as possible when using it with potential partners but many men see being "friends" as the first start to a sexual relationship. I had feelings for a friend of mine that I had known for a while, she came back to my place spent the night, andabout a week later we started dating...then we split .We don't talk

Even better yet, think about this and I will be the first one to share:

Most of the women I am friends with are women that either I don't find very attractive or women that I once wanted to be with but because of one thing or another, it never worked out and so we stayed friends. Aside from my wanting to have sex with any of them, I wouldn't change it at this point. It's been too long. Harry Met Sally is a wonderful movie but 500 Days of Summer, while not better, is a much more realistic.
