fixing/cleaning teeth must be so addicting. its like cleaning up a mess and it seems like there is a lot of skill involved in some procedures.

@CarlosJulio20 It's not food. Or at least not any more. If you don't remove the plaque and food particles daily, it forms tartar which turns into this nasty stuff, called calculus. Calculus starts forming within 24 hours, so brush and floss twice a day. Brushing 10 min before the dentist will do nothing to get this stuff off. Once it forms, it's like cement and can only be removed at the dentist's using those evil looking metal scrapers we love so much. Brush and floss everyday!

You will save yourself a lot of time , money (about $10 every time you floss) and pain , if you see your dentist regularly and floss and brush your teeth daily. Good luck!

peridex is a good mouth rinse , though it does stain teeth. using it for a short period of time usually treats the gums well without too much stain

doctor craig i guess what of internal stain.that naturally browns the teeth.when the others are white .what can one do?
gabyfranke 1 year ago
@gabyfranke If it is truly internal there is not much but cover it with a filling
If it is external it can sometimes be removed.
