Brent landing a Big Bass at Lake Barrett in Southern California

The pattern changed completely since 2 weeks ago and my last visit to Barrett. After pulling out all stops I figured one thing that finally worked. Stuck this nice 7.7 hawg which as of 6/18/11 is my new 'PB' Personal Best for California and slightly less than my overall Largemouth Bass PB of 7.10 which was caught in Texas. This mamma has a HUGE mouth and as you can tell from the video I got carried away thinking it was a 10 at first lol (because of the huge mouth). Pardon my squeaky voice in the video which is due to me still being horse from coaching my last football camp. Enjoy the vid and sorry I don't have the whole fight.

@bl00dt3ar lol only because I thought it was my first 10+. The mouth was enormous on it and when it was shaking in the water I was guessing 9/10 but after reading 7.6 I was a little bummed. But of course, I'm thrilled to catch a 7+ pound bass any day!

@MrEastside619 I used a 6" Hollow Body Swimbait swam moderate speed about halfway in the water column in 15 foo depth off a point. It was awesome to see the strike because the fish tailed it for a good few feet then just swallowed it hole!

wow thats a big boy what lure or jig you use to catch it and I heard Barrett is a good lake to fish for Bass got to hit the lake up and shoot a video concrats on your personal catch nice video
