Most of those girls must have been very dissappointed in later years. Only Ginger Rogers and Gloria Stuart achieved stardom.

Patricia Ellis and Mary Carlisle had moderate success, but their fame did not reach past the late 1930s

Holy smoke! That's Willy Pogany, one of my favorite "Golden Age" book illustrators. He did scads of paintings for books in the teens and twenties, many of which are now rare and very expensive. Later he taught and wrote art how-to books...I had heard he'd worked in Hollywood but I never dreamed he appeared in the talkies. Priceless video!

Wow,Boots Mallory was a very beautiful woman.
Boots [1913-1958]was first married to James Cagney's brother William and then to actor Herbert Marshall, with whom she was married till her death of a throat-infection in 1958.
Very strange that she never made it as a Hollywood-actress.

She actually never even made it to that! She came in second in the Panther Woman contest to another lady !!!
Lona Andre was a very smart woman. After her movie-career,she became a very successful business-woman

Now Mary Carlisle is the last surviving woman from this WAMPAS Baby Stars. We're now in 2012, happy new year everyone!, and she's going to be 100 next month. I wish that she expires 100 years and more.
