Approach and Visual Hard Landing fgrom Deer valley to edge of scottsdale, twards tempe and down the line to 25R.
Alaska Airlines Flight 630 From Seattle. July 14, 2010
Im guessing that the First officer landed this one. It was a funky approach with no traffic. Was too high turning final (I could see Glide Slope Light from 26 indicating 4 White). Then went down to the correct glide slope but then was too slow and couldnt flare.
Im guessing the Virtical Speed @ Touchdown was -200 to -400 FPM. Usually anything under -100 is a good landing.
Here is video from my flight home from Seattle, WA 2010. It was supposed to be a 737-900 but after 3 gate changes they changed it to a -800.

at least 2 or 3 seats from the very rear of the aircraft in coach.

More safe to come in with a thump actually.

-400 feet per minute is not that hard... I would say that most of landings are harder than -100 fpm.
