A friend recently brought in this very, very old Raleigh 3-speed to the shop, 'Pretty cool, huh? Think you can fix it?'. It was pretty wrecked. Definitely abused. 'Way too much hassle to bother', we said, 'not worth the time.'
Then it started raining. Not just a little but a lot, which is a bit of an oddity here in San Francisco. 'Maybe we can take a crack at getting the old tank back on the road', we thought.
This video shows what kind of shape the bike is in now. We'll post a second part (and possibly a third if needed) once we've had a chance to tear things down and see what kind of damage has been done.

Don't leave the bottom bracket cups in the bike especially don't leave the fixed cup in the bike these parts are worn and need to be replaced. A regrease is not enough! e- mail me ! o have 2 hercules 3 speed bikes a womans puch and a males puch single speed and just so you know people refer to theese bikes as rod breaks i have one of those exact model i havnt restored mine though it dooasnt work i might fix it this vid has put me in the mood to cheers m8 your a pro :)
