Thats stupid to even think that, anyone who can restore a car to that extent knows what they're doing, just because someone's a "professional" doesn't mean they know shit about classic cars. I'd like to get a family restored car like this one over a professional because you know the person that built this car obviously lived in the day these cars where on the road, and he/she knows the little details that professionals don't pay attention to. Especially if its their "hobby".

Well I'm not sure stupid was the right word to use either, and the car could be a complete throw together, which I highly doubt in this case. My point is, that a professional could have just as easily thrown this car together than the family that restored it, even more so seeing that trying to turn a profit is the main goal rather than being just a hobby. The car could be a complete basket case, all I'm saying is professional or family built shouldn't have an influence on your view of the car.
