Answer : True. It's difficult to catch every mistake before uploading

Answer : It's not a Karaoke. It's a piano solo instrumental. But your welcome to try.

FAQ #3 : Can you make a downloadable link.
Answer : Even though I did all the instrumentation, it would be within copyright violation to do such a thing.

FAQ #4 : What happened to the Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis interview video.
Answer : I voluntarily took it down after reading YouTube policies

FAQ #5: The timing is off.
Answer: It is not meant to be an exact sync of the recording. Nothing is being quantized. Just playing with feeling and intuition. Sometimes, exact timing can take away from emotional impact. There is a slight clipping in the video at 1:27min but it doesn't take away from anything.

FAQ #6 : Some parts is played fast & slow.
Answer: That is done intentionally. Music is more exciting when the tempo is changing in the right spots.

FAQ #7: Why are you playing it fast.
Answer: If you listen to the original recording very carfefully to just the piano part, and not the singing. You will see that the piano is fast and the singing is kind of slow. Also from the original recording it is not clear what is going on with the left hand because it is played on an Electromechanical Piano A.K.A Fender Rhodes. My keyboard is set to acoustic piano mode, so the left hand is very distinct and clear on the parts that you may not be able to hear from the recording. Put both parts together and the song sounds pretty busy.

FAQ #8 : Did you play it by ear
Answer: Yes, and added some extra stuff along the way. Many R&B songs for sheet music lacks accuracy, and emotional impact. That is why I do them by ear.

This is very nicely played.

I played piano for about 8 years, and still play when I have time (wish I had more) and I have to say - while this is very nice, I can't seem to reconcile myself with the changes in tempo in this song. They kind irk me. Maybe I'm just wired differently or too classically trained, or something. Anyway, this is still great. Thanks for putting it up.
