@USA4July1776 I would say you are wrong and that it's the opposite way round. Capitalism is the new feudalism, with the CEO's as the lords over their vast economic estates, and the workers as wage slaves.

Feudalism is a protection racket. The lord is supposed to protect you from thieves, but in reality the lord himself is a thief who is stealing all your suplus and just allowing you barely enough to live on. I still think its better than capitalism. Atleast in feudalism you cannot be evicted or become homeless.

@littlejssn Government over-lords to whom we owe homage from birth to death telling us how to use our private property and whom control every aspect of our lives... yeah, that's socialism, and that's feudalism too. Why, is that not what your socialist union teacher or Marxist ivory tower professor told you?

@USA4July1776 wrong. america's current socio-political construct is much more congruent with the concepts of feudalism than socialism will ever be. stop tying ideas you're afraid of with ideas that are commonly accepted as bad just to try and make others as fearful as you. is this something glenn beck told you to say?
