@azexperiment Thanks man. I kinda had an idea, but hadn't looked at it like that.

Great video!! I'm curious what rhodes patch you have loaded up in this video. Is it a sample, from and expansion set, or perhaps something custom programmed? I haven't heard such a nice rhodes sound on a Korg Triton before. Well done!

@JimAtwood Thanks Jim & Happy New Year. I guess it is from the KORG EXB expansion board cards but honestly I haven't played my KORG in over a year....my Yamaha MOTIF XF8 is torturing it! Korg make great sequencers but the sounds....been the weak link in many of my jams pre 2010. There goes my KORG endorsement!

How can I come up with different chords. I'm in a rut. And how can I get to where I'm just playing like you were in the beginning?

Hi anointed33, I think its in the listening over and over to different instrumental and Jazz artists and trying out what they do and making something you can fashion after your own playing and then carrying it out. The more you listen the more ideas come easily to you so you have stuff to build on and work with. As you start off with something you know other ideas come with time. I own a CD collection of hundreds of CDs across different genres which I feed on. It helps me when i'm in a rut.
