2.5 months in to my first Saltwater Aquarium, I had a break out of ICH, and I lost two of my clown fish, and the "reef safe" medication took a good portion of my xenia coral. The System has bounced back pretty well. Any feedback and or tips is appreciated, I've added UV sterilizer, and an additional Power head....ENJOY

  • for the ich always use a quarintine tank

  • @ToXiCTKmontages , thanks, at that time I was relatively new to the hobby, I have since done a lot of learning and even changed my set up, check out some of the newer videos. I am all set on the QT set up now. thanks for watching

  • does the coral grow fine with the regular bio cube light?

  • @immateachuhowtoskate // Yeah it is fine, have had no problems with coral growth. Just make sure to run the lights for at least 9-10 hrs per day, and on a regular schedule, I would recommend using a timer.

  • Did you change the light system on the tank?

  • @2424Anthony // nope just what came with it...

  • I'm getting a 30 gallon tank like this with a great filter with a protein skimmer, heater, thermometer UV sterilizer and power head that come with it and fit in the back :) I cant wait, Good luck with yours!

  • Mine had ich too after 3 days of getting him. I got a 15w UV sterilizer and the ich was 90% gone within 24 hours and completely gone in a week (I first filtered the water through my canister before going to my uv sterilizer). My hippo is still around with me after 1.5 years so far. That was a close one! I bought the Aqua Advantage 2000 15w uv sterilizer at aquacave.com or petstore.com

  • Im view 1000!!

  • I brought home a rock from Florida that had star polyps on them and yes, they start out small but mine EXPLODE on the rock and is huge now it is probably the hardiest and nicest coral in my tank you buy was worth it oh and check out my videos on my aquariums
