"Danny's Song" is a song written by Kenny Loggins. The song was a gift for his brother Danny for the birth of his son Tyler. It first appeared on the album "Sittin' In", the debut album of Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina. The song is well remembered for both the Loggins and Messina original, as well as Anne Murray's 1972 top-ten charting cover.

Kenny Loggins most underrated musician of recent times, this is a great song. I am embarrassed to say I grew up listening to it and never knew it was him! Never gets old.

This is a beautiful song. Doesn't matter if you're 14 or 54. (And there are some current 14 y.o. kids who love it) Doesn't matter when you first heard it, where you're from or who you are. This is a beautiful song.
