Please go see the website (the story behind the story, A. True Ott Phd). This is an Asphalt volcano and it has natural organisms that would clean the gulf but the dispersants are the real killer. Yes, WE ARE SO ANGRY BECAUSE OUR INTUITION TELLS US THIS IS MURDER. There are so many alternatives (hay, hair, Mr.Costner machines, the list goes on) but we feel so HELPLESS, to STOP This. It is horrible the fish are gasping for air, everything is dying. We have to do something else.

If the hairboom sinks when it absorbs oil, just attach a small balloon to it. That's less than a quarter to the cost and totally environmentally friendly.
