    Quick question, when i highlight my mountains, i get some of the purple/blue base color on my knife with the leftover white when i take the knife off the canvas. when you did it, it seemed like no base color got on the knife. what did i do wrong? Thanks if you can help me!

    It's not uncommon, but if you are getting a lot of your base color sticking to the paint on your knife, it's a good sign that your base color is too thin. You need your base color nice and tacky, not slick.
