Xenosaga really needed to go it's full length, I was probably the most disapointed I've ever been when it didn't.

This song played during the scenes where albedo and rubedo and nigredo were younger...it just was in a piano theme and there was no singing.

Shion is SO not one dimensional. Annoying maybe but one dimensional ? NO.

@WickedArcAddict The difference between chaos and Shion is that while chaos went through a lot as well, he's also quite ancient and has had time to deal with all his issues, and I wouldn't say he's "dark" persay, he's realistic, but since things are dark when he's being realistic ,it comes off as him being dark. though even when he's realistic he DOES try to put a positive spin on what's going on.

@yamibalus Good point. If we all had her experiences we'd be like her in a way. Chaos' personality on the other hand is interesting. He's cheerful but dark at the same time.

This Song(even piano only version) and Fatal Fight Jin/Margulis made the second game playable despite the battle system being hard to master. Though I'd like to add when you DO master it, it's down right easy, just takes a little longer than Episode 1 or 3's

@tarth74 Shion's probably the most HUMAN protagonist... I mean yeah, she bitches a lot, and goes emo.... but think what she's been through.... most people would turn out like she did if they went through those events....

kajiura's soundtrack was one of very few reasons that I was able to sit through these games while my brother played through them one by one. had plenty of really cool ideas but tryed too hard to become the next 2001: a space oddessy. the christian symbolism of the first two games was actually quite intriguing but got pathetically literal by the third one and for the record shion uzuki is probably one of the most one dimensional, painfully stupid protagonists in gaming history ziggys cool though

this whole game gives me creeps :) best rpg really. Music and story line was the strongest part of the game.
