Have you been thinking about trying a Polaroid Instant Camera but fearful that the camera you pick up at a yard sale might not work? Here are a few tips so that you can test the camera before buying it! Did you know that new film for vintage Polaroid SX-70 and 600 cameras is now being made by The Impossible Project.

What is FPP?

I wish impossible would remake the old polaroid formula rather than just developing there own. impossible...always developing ;)

Here's a tip I discovered from personal experience: Before you put a real pack of film in/buy the camera, MAKE SURE the shutter actually opens. If it does, you're good. If it doesn't, though, don't buy it. Got a rainbow onestep just like that and tested it. All seemed to be fine until I actually took a picture and realized the shutter was messed up.
