On the cold and lonely tundra in the middle of the antarctic serengetti, a bizarre ritualistic dance begins to unfold... the Unholy Mating Dance of the Zbrush Base Mesh!

This piece is my first experiment using CAMERA PROJECTION in Maya and Photoshop. I started with a single still photograph of an iceberg, and added a camera movement THROUGH the image. The dancing characters are "base meshes" which I modeled in Maya using polygonal modeling, with intent to bring into Zbrush for further detailing. I have been told you cannot animate a mere base mesh, because its evenly quad-ed topology is not conducive to character animation. However, with this peice I have proven that you can indeed animate a base mesh. yee haw.
