When you find one-- well, when a bellringer finds one-- they ring the bells! You see where all the towers have a day of the week after their name? That's practice night, and that's the night ringers can go and ring the bells. Once a ringer has learned to control a bell properly, there's a vast amount of patterns called "methods" in which the bells can be rung. And people have competitions, and ringing tours... Wikipedia has more info under "Change ringing".

Belltowers? Why do you wan`t to find them? What are you going to do when you find one? I`m lost...

It's a program for the N900 which finds nearby belltowers. I think it demonstrates the platform rather nicely.
