  • @doyouwantaspoon So it's like playing on survivalist but with less ammo, health kits, and money and the enemies are tougher?

  • @jackslater230011 Hardcore IS Survivalist, but you can only save three times, and there's no checkpoints. That's the only difference. Same enemies, same amount of ammo etc. If I can make a suggestion, save before the parts where you can die because of LUCK, not skill. Like the zero-gravity room with the spinning blades.. It's really easy to accidentally mess up there and get killed, whereas bosses are just a matter of skill. Bosses are easy once you learn how to beat them.

  • @doyouwantaspoon Seriously? How am I suppose to beat the game on hardcore if I can only save 3 times? If you die, will you atleast be able to start at a checkpoint? Also, any pointers or tips for hardcore difficulty?

  • @jackslater230011 When they say Hardcore, they really mean it. The DIFFICULTY of Hardcore (meaning how much HP the enemies have and how much damage they deal) is equivalent to the one right after Normal, but before Zealot. It's so hard because you can only save three times and there are NO CHECKPOINTS. So if your last save was five hours ago, and you die, you go back to your last save. Save before what you think are the three most difficult parts in the game, and don't give up.

  • ok i went and tested it out to save like an extra like 4 seconds, do what he says, then when u go to open the door dont pick up the money, just open the door and look at it then go back to the save point, save, restart checkpoint, go open door then there will be two money pickups, so skip pikcing them up first do the saves and get them all at once when ur done =) thumbs up for meeee

  • @tbear116 I actually think that sounds like a better method. Saves the time of picking up all up one at a time. Just open the door, save, reload, open the door, save reload.. Do that like 15 times then pick up all 15 stacks of credits at once. Good observation.

  • this is sorta dumb. it takes to long to do this.

  • im playing this in january 2012 does anybody know if this has been patched?

  • @doyouwantaspoon I used to make dumb jokes.....until that guy threw logic into my brain. lol sorry :p great vid though

  • how much is that credit...1000, 10000..????

  • Does it work for PC? I opened the door use the "c" button to extract the credits, then saved and then pressed "restart checkpoint" when I opened the door again, items were gone..

    WHAT EM I DOING WRONG?

  • @doyouwantaspoon LOL i finished it in one day xD you just have to remember to take your time, not to rush otherwise as doyouwantaspoon says, you'll mess up on easy parts. I actually found playing hard core easier and more fun than on easy difficulty, because I was actually awake and alert when playing it.

THE THREE SAVE POINTS I RECOMMEND: PLEASE USE THESE:

SAVE 1: RIGHT AFTER ENTERING THE CHURCH

SAVE 2: RIGHT AFTER YOU ENTER THE ISHIMURA

SAVE 3: RIGHT BEFORE THE NEEDLE EYE POKE MACHINE

  • obrigado por respeitar meu vídeo é difícil más vejo que ainda existem pessoas com bom senso.

  • @doyouwantaspoon oh wow i forgot about this comment lol but yea it just seemed more simple and easy

  • That's it? I'm playing on survivalist right now and it's really not that hard. I thought they meant it was impossibly tough. If that's the only problem, I think I'll be just fine. Thanks for the advice. By the way, how many credits are in that node room?
