This is 'Resurrection Day',cut #10 on an out-of-print CD (perhaps re-released) by Paul Thorn called "Hammer and Nail". Laura Ellen gave me my copy, told me I'd like Paul Thorn. I was at this performance, Villa Montalvo, August, '06.

I've been a huge fan of David Bromberg since back in the day when he played with Jerry Jeff Walker. Over the years I've seen him play many times live and never have I seen him put on a poor perfomance. He is likely one of the best acoustical guitarist alive. I once heard Arlo Guthrie and Joan Baez comment after a show that, David was hard to follow because the crowd didn't want him to ever leave the stage. I totally agreed. Anyone lucky enough to see him and Paul together, well...WoW!!!
