The Los Angeles Lakers won the game over the Houston Rockets 89 to 70, as Pau Gasol had a HUGE double double and Bynum and Fisher played strong and Kobe had a relatively quiet game. Sasha Vujacic also played solid.

The Lakers move onto the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Staples Center at 6:00PM on ESPN!

Yeah and good teams win when it matters the most. They owned the Nuggets and the Magic who are WAY stronger than the Rockets, even with Yao. It's all about matchups. No one could handle Brooks' speed, The pick n roll defense (Lakers weakness), Battier did a good job defending Kobe, to be honest. And the Rocket's bench surprised me actually.

first, a healthy t-mac (not t-mac on 1 knee) would have been a HUGE help for a team that has really no wing player left (artest is a post-up wing).

second, regular season counts as nothing, especially for the rockets, who regular season was disrupted by t-mac drama and various injuries.

finally, if lakers weren't trying, that's the biggest part they should be ashamed of. A great team plays hard every game, like boston and cavs. Lakers should be ashamed for not playing hard.

This year was the first time they won a playoff series in the last decade. We a so superior to that bitch ass group its not even funny.

Second the refs really screwed up the games in Houston. While you would build the leads clean, when we would take them away the faggot refs called bullshit calls, including a T on Kobe that the league revoked.

actually after yao, and deke went down, the biggest match up problem for rockets is lacking of size. WIth no one over 6'9, they are bound to get raped in rebounding and interior scoring.

but somehow...they beat the lakers (with 2 7 footers, a bunch of 6'10 6'11 players too) twice....

maybe you should start....PLAY some bball? try playing against people who are 3'4 inches advantage against you.
