the united states didnt buy Alaska...the united states bought the russian-american trading post...a little Alaska native history will show...the united states stole this land after the native population was weakened after the disease epidemics...russians did not have millitary dominance on Alaska they only defeated the aleuts the inuits and natives of Alaska held power over russians aswell as the british
