Mexico - Incubus (piano only cover)

My youtube research shows that videos with no singing in them, rather having the vocal line in the piano, are much more popular with viewers. I attribute this to less things to critique. A voice is something liked or disliked by personal opinion, but a piano sounds like a piano.
So I thought I'd try it out.

Did you do this by ear or do you have sheets? I absolutely love this song and I've been trying to do it by ear like tI normally do with everything else, but it seems nearly impossible. Can you help me?

It was a combination of knowing the guitar part, looking at the guitar tabs, and by ear. I don't really know how to help you, but what helped me was looking at/knowing the guitar part itself.

Okay. That's cool. lol I don't play much guitar though. But anyway, thank you. Your video helped A LOT. I do a lot of covers myself for BFMV, Linkin Park.... and there are a few I have to redo :x so yeah. haha I might learn your version of this song, then kinda change it and make it different, and record it like I do with everything else (:
