I got a replacement battery from them completely free, within 14 hours, on the last day of my warranty.
Maybe you were just unlucky?

their machine is ok...but ibm and lenovo has the worst customer service in the world.....i mean their warranty is completely useless and worthless.

i use lenovo W500... sometimes it even got touble connecting to my router even its just beside it....god damn it...

I preferred it when IBM made these. Its really just the thought of having a PC made by one of the greatest computer companies ever. Plu sthe friendly little 3-color IBM logo on the outside.

lol at my cousins college they modified a bluetooth signal to travel 1 mile :S and they were working on a wifi to do the same
