It was easy to change the hotkeys, check the vwm_hotkeys.h file.

@judgen I share you problem... I've been wanting a wm like this for a long time only to face such a petty obstacle.. guess its hacking time :p

Seems to work just fine over here, just a problem with the swedish keyboard as the tilde button is a function key and thus i can not do much else than look at the pretty blue background colour at the moment.
