In this quick and easy autumn / fall 2011 hair tutorial, I show how to create a stylish and glamorous party updo with a high messy bun. It was requested on my facebook page and it's inspired by Urban Decay Summer 2011 trends

It is perfect for medium to long layered hair. While I make it on my straight hair, you can use the same technique to create it on wavy or curly hair. If your hair is very long and thick, you only need to be taking smaller sections of hair and use more bobby pins!

To make the entire stylish process much easier, I've texturized my hair with Wella SP Volumagic styling mousse.

This very trendy and chic hairdo is perfect for a night out, for a party, for a date. You can wear it for prom, homecoming, graduation party, ball, reception, wedding guests and all kind of stylish special occasions and evening events. This red carpet hairstyle will also look great as a modern bridal or bridesmaid updo. It can be also a great everyday casual hairstyle for school / work / office. You could even wear it to the beach.
