Its funny. This game is more popular 15 years after its release. It sold poorly when it came out. Thats probably why we haven't seen a VC release yet or remake for Xbox Live. Always thought this was the best shooter ever. Even better than Ikaruga. Damn good effort in gamer mode!

@kakarikovillage Not really. Mostly this is because it based on anime title Area 88 and without permission of copyrightholder no one can remake or rerelease it. Yes, this sucks.

man you lost the shield at the first boss at 3:14, suddenlly u got it back when u defeated him at 3:27, the same thing happened at 4:41 and again suddenly u recovered it at 5:02. man, i would like to know what happened, what cheat did u use to do that twice

Youtube video glitch of having a 60 fps changed to 30 fps, nothing more. I mentioned in a previous comment the 3 times I get hit with the shield on (the shield allows 3 hits).
