  • 5 ounces? What a scammer.

  • @norxcontacts you think they should get more than 5 ounces of electronic gold plated scrap for $30.00. That's an opinion and opinions are always welcome.

  • And that children is how america is broke

  • @339justdoit Yes, I called it awhile back when computers were $10,000 each and then $8,,000, 8086 , 8088, 80286, 386, 486, Pentium, Pentium II, P4,, quad core, 8x core, all that research and technology burned through a lot of our economic wealth. With the new phones and touch screens, we have invested our future and now it's up to the next generation to get us off this rock we call Earth. We put the future in their hands, totally leveraged or all that cash will truly be eviscerated.

  • OK, you are not recovering the gold yourself, rather you are selling it online. You are not honorable. $1650+ an ounce, yet you're making Youtube vidoe's?

  • @BillKville we sold it a long long time ago and it shows that electronic computer scrap can sell instead of throwing it away. The person who bought it wanted all that we had and then bought even more. The video showed him much better closeups than simple photos. We had fun making the video as well. What we sold was electronic gold scrap and the weight was measured in ounces. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't believe anyone thought they were getting 5.4 ounces of solid gold at $40

  • The gold plating on electronic connections is only a few atoms thick. You might as well just work at McDonalds.

  • lmao, people get so incensed at joke promo vids... of course you wouldnt get 440 of gold from those couple of parts. but hey they welcome to try , enough mugs out there :)

  • I'd rather be digging for gold. Recycling makes sense too, but it takes a large volume of scrap to get a little gold. (Plus lots of by products too)

  • @BillKville LOL, If those gold fingers worth that much, how are we making all those electronics these days and sell them for couple hundred dollars. It won't even cover the gold expense.

  • @339justdoit hahah

  • @AustinCyberShop To get 5.4 ounces from gold plated parts, you would need ma few 18 wheelers packed with old computers. Not to mention the months it would take you to strip away those computers to get at those parts. Add to that the buyer-refiner would probably give you less than 50 cents on the dollar for those parts. It would be more profitable to get a job at Walmart.

If it was so profitable why are you giving your "secret" away?
