  • What editing system do they give you to use at Interlochen?

  • Final Cut Pro Studio 2. With 30 inch HD displays hooked up to a G5. But i edit on my own computer. (Mac Book pro) with final cut pro

  • So, do they give you mac computers to work with if you've only got a PC?

  • no they dont give you one, but they have 5 editing suites which are small dark quite rooms to edit in. So you always have the stuff accessible. You dont neeeed a mac if you dont have one, but it is really helpful.

  • Just wondering about the darker outsides (vignette right?) Are they mostly from the way you shot (as explained side effect in your 35mm adapter) or edited in?

  • yeah in this film i edited it in, but it looks really bad and dumb in this, should have taken it off.

  • gaaaaaaah. I just got a laptop for the sole purpose of needing one if I make it into Interlochen and decided against a mac. For what reason, I don't know. Must've been hittin' the bleach too hard.
