the is the only decent version of this song on youtube. the other versions have vocals that don't capture the sentimentality of the song
.
you should try a musical accompaniment and see if you can make it even better
.
youtube needs a definitive version of this beautiful poignant song, i would love for you to be the one to do it first

you kinda sounded british to me. are you british?

lovely voice, herman. i'm currently learning to play the penny whistle and i've found that you're great to play along to. check out my new blog ( timwhistles. blogspot. com ) to see your link there (tune 02).

Thank you so much. If possible, I will record it again. I want to make it better. :)

this wasn´t german. i think this was islandisch(i don´t know how is it of english). my english is very, very bad. Like you too.

Hallo! Zugfan (sorry, I don't know your name). You said it's islandisch? Cool! That's OK. Like your English, my German is at very beginner level. I plan to learn more German after I finish my school works. However, I think your English is better than my German, since you can type an English passage. I'm from Kaohsiung city, Taiwan. Which city or county do you live in now? I have a German friend here who is from Keisserslautern. The emperor's Lautern River. It is an interesting city name.^^
