This video is a slide show presentation of a Honed Carrara Marble Master Bath installation that I provided in the Spring of 2010, in Greenville, South Carolina. It was an interesting installation despite the shower repairs I had to perform before I could start in earnest. The natural stone finishes utilized several Carrara Marble dimensions. From classic 12x12, to 3x6, to a gorgeous basket-weave Carrara Mosaic.
I have better photographs available from my blog, ( http://worldtile.blogspot.com/ ) if you are interested. Feel free to ask questions and comment about this installation or subscribe if you like.
Due to unrestricted naming conventions, "marble" is a loosely used and often abused trade designation for almost any stone that will hold an easily polished finish.
That said;
Carrara Marble is a classic, natural stone finish that has endured many centuries of fickle color and texture decoration trends. It's longevity is testament in such World Famous structures as The Pantheon and Trajan's Column, in Rome, The Cathedral of Siena, in Siena, The Marble Arch in London and the medium for the great Italian Renaissance artist, Michelangelo's "David"

Hi movietime111. Thanks for the question/comment. The short answer is I set the walls square and spent a little time with the layout of the shower floor. In this case it was pretty much a "center of area" application. Hope that helps and thanks again.
